Formally known as Rivalo, Bahigo has secured its place as one of the top sports betting sites in Switzerland.

Since its launch date in 2019, the website has been offering its users sports betting as well as casino options with great bonuses and it shows no signs of slowing down.

In this review, we’ll take a look at the sports welcome bonus as well as the casino bonus.

How would I approach this bonus?

Here is the step-by-step guide to redeem the Bahigo bonus:

1. I would deposit 200 CHF and make sure to select the 1:1 match bonus from Bahigo.
2. I would wait a day (requirement) and deposit 200 CHF again for the next 1:1 bonus (must select it).
3. Because my first deposit is a minimum of 200 CHF I get 4 x 25 CHF free bets

If you fulfil all the requirements the maximum amount you can earn in bonuses is 500 CHF.

The minimum bonus you can get is 15 CHF + 15 CHF = 30 CHF. The minimum qualifying deposit is 10 Euro or 15 Swiss francs, but to receive the final total 100 CHF bonus, your first deposit has to be at least 200 CHF.

How to can I withdraw?

To withdraw the bonuses you need to wager the deposit + bonus amount 3 times at odds of 1.80 minimum.

Given there are two separate bonuses, each needs to meet this requirement.

For example, if you bet your deposit and its bonus on a sports event, you need to bet 400 fr. at odds of 1.80 (at least), a total of 3 times to «release» your bonus.

For the second bonus, you need to do the same.

That makes a turnover of 6 times to get back the money you have deposited and been given as a bonus.

Don’t forget your free bets!

If you qualify for the 4 x 25 CHF bonus, by depositing 200 the first time, you will receive the first 25 the day after the first deposit.

The rest of the 25s will be gradually released every 7 days - on days 7, 14 and 21 after the deposit. Make sure to use them, as you only have 48 hours after their release before they expire.

Currently, the website seems centred primarily on newer players and novices who do not need as many options and choices as say, pro bettors.

Sometimes Bahigo really delivers, and big at that, but other times the numbers leave more to be desired.

Admittedly there aren't too many markets available for most football games, but Bahigo covers the basics.

You get your odds on who is going to win the game, the rest of the match or who will score the next goal.

If you are more into virtual sports, Bahigo doesn't disappoint on this front either.

The available live games you can bet on include Football, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball and Virtual Dog and Horse races.

No matter if you are a morning lark or a night owl, there are matches available 24/7 on the platform, so you won't be left scrambling for a game to bet on.

Bahigo's website could use some user-friendliness and quality-of-life improvements.

The search bar does offer suggestions, but it is very slow to do so, so you better know precisely what you are looking for or at least make no spelling mistakes, as it won’t show you anything.

Sometimes it can be a little complicated to get precisely the game you are looking for or to go to a specific World Cup match, given that’s what’s hot right now in November/December, but with a bit of digging around and tweaking you’ll get used to finding games quickly and efficiently.

The Bahigo site has a section where you can bet on live sports, but instead of watching the game live, you can see the field and an animated representation of the events in real-time.

Given the popularity of the two main odds formats - decimal and fractional, I was surprised to see only decimal and American formats included.

I had a pleasant interaction with Bahigo’s Live chat support.

They have integrated a queue system for the chat, so you know how long you have to wait.

I was the only one in the queue at 12:30 pm, so it was not busy. The response time is about 1 minute.

Live chat support answered in German, but they were courteous enough to switch to English immediately after my message.

While they were answering my question, the chat agent offered me a link to check out an ongoing tennis game to keep me entertained.

Something I really liked about the chat support feature is that when I switched to a different tab to see the game, the chat window stayed open and I didn’t have to worry about missing a reply.

Overall customer support is very reliable and willing to help and provided as much information as I needed.

And to answer the question, yes crypto deposits count towards the bonus. I haven’t personally tried it but was curious enough to save you the headache and get the answer out there.

   Although Bahigo says SEPA transfers take 3 to 7 days, in my experience, they only took 1 to 2 days, so I was happy and didn’t stress about receiving my funds.
   However, what I don’t specifically love is that there are no automatic transfers. Instead, a Bahigo employee has to manually verify and approve each transfer, which might delay the whole withdrawal process during busy times.

If you want to bet with cryptocurrency on Bahigo you can use MuchBetter, which allows users in Switzerland to deposit and withdraw various cryptocurrencies to and from betting sites.

The Swiss Gambling Supervisory Authority, Gespa and ESBK have restricted access and have added most of Bahigo’s domains to a blacklist started in 2019.

Bahigo offers both casino and live casino games for your enjoyment.

With 1000+ games on the website and an up-to-par casino bonus, you have hours of exciting and various games to wager on.

While not the original well-known titles, many games are close replicas and give off the same vibe and feel while playing.

Bahigo’s «Great Rhino» is a personal favourite of mine, as I find it beautiful in its simplicity and the music is kind of catchy too.

I tested the game out by using the «Play for fun» option.

After spinning about €70, I got €136 in free spins. Not bad for just holding the Spacebar key without letting go.

While Bahigo may not have the best-looking website of the bunch, they certainly have a few things going for them well!

I would love to see them improve their website on both desktop and mobile, to give their users’ eyes some rest.

I would also hope Bahigo works a bit on their bet selection for some smaller games and starts offering a wider variety of sports. I believe the addition of eSports might give the site the needed boost to put it at the top of Swiss betting websites.

For now, the brilliant customer support team, and variety of sports and casino games are sufficient enough to make me recommend Bahigo as a good bookmaker in Switzerland.
