Many people say 2017 is what is commonly known as a "Super Election Year", with the English, French, Dutch and Germans all going to the election polls.
With 1 down (The Netherlands) and 3 to go, 2017 is bringing a big spin to the intricate world of European politics. The main focus at the moment is of course the French Presidential Election, where Macron is battling it out With Le Pen. All the polls are pointing to a landslide win for Macron, but the thing about polls recently is that, well, they have a tendency to majorly miss the mark.
Besides the French election there is also the UK General Election and German Federal Election. Angela Merkel has had a bit of a rough year, with some of her popularity on the German homefront dwindling. Will another candidate step in as the new Chancellor?
