It looks to be another great season in the Premier League for Harry Kane with six goals in seven league games for the Englishman already.

Since the 2013/2014 Kane's record has exponentially increased year by year:

2013/2014: Appearances 10(4) goals 3

2014/2015: Appearances 34(6) goals 21

2015/2016: Appearances 38(0) goals 25

2016/2017: Appearances 30(1) goals 29

Sometimes it's hard to forget he's only 24. If he stays in the league and he continues his goalscoring form then he should be breaking Shearer's record in around seven seasons.

Kane currently has 84 goals and Alan Shearer's record stands at 260. So if Kane was to carry on as he is, he should be getting the record by his early thirties.

Harry Kane could already beat Alan Shearer's record of 36 goals in a calendar year from 1995 with Blackburn Rovers.

If Kane continues scoring 1.09 goals per match, he'll have scored 16 more than Shearer did! He currently needs just 12 to break the record, with 15 matches remaining.

We looked at Alan Shearer's record and although still impressive, his goal to game ratio did begin to drop over the years, occasionally peaking over 20 goals in 1999/2000, 2001/2002 and 2003/2004.

Now, we believe that looking at all the stats, that Kane could quite easily surpass Shearer's record. BUT, the big question is will he stay in the Premier League? If he was to stay it would be a no-brainer.

The question is how likely will it be that Harry Kane will spend some time abroad? Well, if you look at the list many of the great Premier League goal-scorers like Henry and Van Persie are certainly lower in the rankings due to their spells at clubs outside of the league.

However, if you look at the small number of England players who have chosen to move abroad then we think this could be a good bet to place.

If there were to be one foreign club that has been realistically posited as a potential transfer possibility then Real Madrid could be it.

However, at odds of 4/1 we still think this could be a nice bet to have in the bank. Think how nice it would be to remember in seven seasons time that you had the foresight to see this coming!
