Although 1Bet claim to be the best sportsbook all around, is there something they are not telling you?

We are here to find out by looking carefully into what they have on offer and how that serves the casual bettor.

1Bet is currently not in the highest position on either our Swiss betting sites list, or our betting sites in Luxembourg list, but it still has a good welcome offer worth claiming.

The overall quality of 1Bet is high and my impression is positive. There are many and frequent existing customer promotions to keep you engaged, that provide good value for your money.

If you are mainly a football fan, you will be delighted to look at all the leagues and matches that are covered by the bookmaker.

The other sports, albeit many, are not ordered alphabetically, so it takes a little more effort to find them. This is compensated by the sheer number of sports available - currently 35.

There are a few sports alongside football that have more matches and betting options than the rest, namely tennis, basketball, American football, table tennis, horse racing and esports.

They all offer ample options for a punt, so you won't be disappointed.

1Bet Bet builder

1Bet offers the "Build a bet" feature, which is essentially a bet builder, for most of its football matches, especially the major leagues.

The most common selections you will find are Match result, Goals, Double Chance, Full/half time and Correct score, which is more than enough to build up some favourable odds.

1Bet Early Cashout

For most bets, 1Bet provides early cashout, which means that before the end of the match, despite the result, you can take a portion of your money out. This way you can either secure a smaller part of your winnings or reduce your losses if you feel like things are going south for your team.

1Bet offers one of the more common sports welcome bonuses on the market as many other operators also offer a 100% match on players deposits.

While not necessarily a bad thing, the bonus is not original and doesn't stand out too much.

To this point, the wagering requirements are a bit too steep for my liking, standing at 12 times the bonus amount before a withdrawal can be initiated.

Only 50% of the received bonus amount can be used as a stake at a time.

For example, if you receive €100, you can only bet €50 at a time maximum, for the bet to count towards the wagering requirements.

In contrast, Wettigo has a higher bonus amount, lower minimum odds and only 6 times turnover.

When it comes to value for your bets, odds make or break a good deal.

Below I made a table to compare the 1Bet odds and the Wettigo odds for two football matches.

For the English Premier League match between Burnley and Man City, Wettigo offers slightly better odds for the favourite team, but worse odds for the underdog.

For the Women World Cup, where Switzerland and Spain play, 1Bet overall has the better odds in both home and away teams.

As you can see, by browsing different bookmakers, you can find the best odds before placing your bets.

1Bet also offers a casino bonus, which is another deposit match up to €500.

With this bonus you need to be mindful of the wagering requirements.

As it currently stands you need to wager your deposit + the bonus funds 30 times, which effectively makes for a total of 60x wagering requirement.

If you are looking for a casino with lower requirements for the bonus and the deposit, Wettigo once again offers better conditions - 20x bonus + deposit amounts, which practically makes it 40x.
