BetGrouse offers a relatively simple horse racing section for punters, with all the singles, doubles, trebles and system bets you could ask for, however, a lack of forecast and tricast betting is a strange omission. Selections are once again automatically added to the betslip, with various permutations offered depending on the number of selections added.

Racecards quite frankly need work, with jockey, trainer, form and current market movements available, but BetGrouse does not even feature race silks, which is a bog standard feature of any race card worth its salt. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a dealbreaker, but when compared to Bet365 or even QuinnBet, this is not ideal for punters.

In terms of promotions, there are no options currently available, although there was a section for "Boosted Odds" which was at the time of the review, empty.

The lack of jockey silks is an aberration that needs addressing and looks unprofessional.

BetGrouse does feature racing outside of UK & Ireland, although, at the time of writing, there were only race markets from Australia, Bahrain and Italy available, however, it would be wise to expect race markets for USA, France and beyond to be available too, although markets are limited to win and place only.

As is the case with international betting, markets only tend to be available for the next race, so those looking for an international Yankee or Lucky 15 will be out of luck unfortunately.

BetGrouse offers favourable odds when compared to other bookmakers

The one major plus point for BetGrouse is its odds. Pricing for racing is relatively competitive, often matching bigger brand bookies, including Sky Bet and Coral, although the more cynical punter may suggest that this isn't too difficult!

As harsh as the numerous criticisms have been, the one solis I take from betting on horse racing at BetGrouse is that it will improve. It's a new sportsbook and it will take time to iron out the current issues, but on the whole it has potential, if you can bypass its flaws.

Football betting at BetGrouse fares much better than its horseracing counterpart, offering some daily price boosts and a workable bet builder option.

To put into context the number of games available, as I write, there are currently 1300+ matches to bet upon on this cold Thursday afternoon. Quite frankly, if you cannot find a match to bet on, I don't think any bookie can help you!

Market availability and range are very good at BetGrouse, with well over 50+ betting options available, covering results, goals, cards, team and player markets, plus Asian Handicaps.

Along with single bets and accas, BetGrouse offers a bet builder option which covers the majority of top leagues in and around Europe, along with continental and international matches. The bet builder is solid, although a few more markets wouldn't go amiss.

As is the case with bet builders across many sportsbook sites, the more prominent games feature more markets, but even with the 20+ available here, it isn't quite to the level of Sky Bet or Betway, who at times offer over double the number of bet builder options, but ultimately it does a competent job and is recommended for football backers.
