BetGrouse overview

Del Pugh

BetGrouse has a familiar feel to other Aspire Global-operated sites, integrating a good sportsbook and casino experience for users. The sportsbook offers an array of markets, with football, horse racing and American sports dominating.
The site runs well enough and offers a plethora of betting options, along with plenty of bet boosts. The busy interface may take a little time to get used to, but overall BetGrouse offers a very compelling experience, despite a disappointing sign-up offer.

Is The BetGrouse Sportsbook Offer Any Good?

BetGrouse offers new sportsbook players a Bet £15 Get £10 welcome bonus. On paper it doesn't look like the best offer around, but how does it compare to other bookmakers?

The wagering requirement of £15 is unusually high when compared to other sites, with plenty of bookmakers including Ladbrokes and Coral requiring a minimum bet of just £5, while in general, most bookies require a tenner on sign-up.

The higher initial outlay wouldn't be so bad if the bonus was decent, but alas BetGrouse falls short once more, with just £10 in free bets on offer. Considering the amount of Bet 10 Get 30 sign-up bonuses available to new players, this is once again a hard sell to new players looking for value from a sign-up bonus.

In general, it is very difficult to recommend BetGrouse from its promotion alone, with so many better sign-up offers available to players. If BetGrouse isn't for you, check out our complete list of bookmaker offers.

Ongoing Promotions

In terms of ongoing promotions, BetGrouse is not very forthcoming. Other than price boosts available across various sporting events, there are not many incentives to keep players coming back to the site, with a distinct lack of "money back" specials, "free bet" offers or anything else to encourage players to use the sportsbook, which is a real shame considering the amount of markets BetGrouse offers.

The casino fares a little better but is still relatively limited in terms of ongoing promotions, with a couple of Drops And Wins tournaments giving users the chance to win from a prize pool, if they rank high enough on the leaderboard.

However, players hoping for something like cashback or bonus will be very disappointed by the lack of effort on BetGrouse's side.

Betting Features

BetGrouse isn't overwhelmed with betting features, but what it features are necessities for any sports betting site and more importantly, they are executed well.

Bet Builder

The bet builder function at BetGrouse is solid enough and covers football, NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB markets. In general, around 20+ markets are available to create a bet builder, including score, player and Asian markets.

For football backers, it is good to see the bet builder applying to a variety of matches and leagues around the world, but these tend to be more popular markets only.

There are better bet builders out there, with the likes of Betway and BetVictor offering almost double the amount of available markets in comparison, but on the whole BetGrouse's selection is useable.

The bet builder at Bet Grouse is solid if unspectacular and needs more markets to be added

The bet builder at BetGrouse is solid, yet unspectacular and has half of the market options of some its bigger brand peers

In-Play Betting

Live betting is okay at BetGrouse, with plenty of sporting events covered by in-play markets, however, its execution could be better. Football unsurprisingly provides the most markets in play, with at least seven or eight markets available for even the smallest of contests, with more added, depending on the popularity of the tournament or league, but once again when compared to bigger brands such as Paddy Power, the options are limited.

Team sport fares better in terms of markets available, which is no surprise and while it is admirable to see in-play markets for more niche betting markets such as badminton, hosting just two or three markets in these events feels like an afterthought. E-sports also suffer, with fewer markets than normally available at the likes of Midnite or Betway.

In-play betting is sufficient at BetGrouse, but a lack of match markets on bigger events, including football and e-sports is a disappointment, with Bet365 or even Boylesports recommended for fans of live betting.

Cash Out

The cash-out function at BetGrouse is pretty rudimentary, but solid enough, offering the option to take the money and run on both pre-match and in-play markets.

There is no partial cash-out available, nor auto cash-out options, but these tend to be reserved for the bigger brand bookies, with the potential for BetGrouse to add these as its sportsbook site matures.

Betting Experience

The BetGrouse sportsbook is newly launched and offers a solid betting experience overall, albeit dogged by a busy UI and at times difficult navigation, which has been a trademark of other Aspire Global gambling sites in the past.

However, its betting offering is good and despite a few hiccups, provides players who persevere, with a good betting option, away from the bigger brands.

The sportsbook hosts around 43 sports, e-sports and special markets to bet upon, with firm favourites including football and horse racing, through to more niche options like badminton and Kabaddi

Upon visiting the BetGrouse site, players who have visited other AG Communication sites will get a familiar feeling, thanks to a very busy homepage.

There are a couple of shortcuts to switch between the Sportsbook and Casino page, while to the left players can view upcoming and in-play betting, with all available sports listed.

In the centre of the screen, markets are listed, with several headings, including Top Offer, Favourites, Highlights and Horse Racing, while below these individual sports are listed. Although it is great to have options when looking for markets, it can be a little overwhelming for new players especially, but the favourite option, does help make it easier when regularly betting on certain markets.

The UI is overly busy and can cause issues with finding sporting events and markets, plus add unnecessary scrolling up and down the page.

In the top right of the screen, player option and account options are available, including payments, while the next horse or greyhounds race is listed below. The betslip appears on the bottom right of the screen and can be minimised at will.

One issue, I found when navigating the site, was when scrolling down the list of sports on the left, the main part of the page that lists the markets available, would disappear, meaning plenty of unnecessary scrolling back up to find what was available, which is counter-intuitive and rather annoying.

Overall, BetGrouse takes some getting used to, although using the optimised mobile site may offer an easier option for some players.

Clicking sports when navigating results in the need to scroll back up to see any markets available

Clicking sports further down the page at Betgrouse, results in the need to scroll back up, as the available markets cannot be seen.

Placing Bets

Placing bets at BetGrouse is much more straightforward, with selections added to the betslip automatically and further betting options visible, depending on the number of selections added.

Selecting a bet builder also works similarly, with selections added to the betslip under a Bet Builder heading, with confirmation creating and placing the all-in-one bet.

Doubles, Trebles, Accas and system bets are available, however, there seemed to be no option for forecasts or tricasts, which is disappointing, especially for racing fans, although this does seem to be a growing trend among smaller sportsbook offerings.

Bet builder selections are added to the betslip before confirmation

All selections are added to the betslip automatically, including bet builder choices, showing the overall odds prior to placing the bet

Horse Racing Betting

BetGrouse offers a relatively simple horse racing section for punters, with all the singles, doubles, trebles and system bets you could ask for, however, a lack of forecast and tricast betting is a strange omission. Selections are once again automatically added to the betslip, with various permutations offered depending on the number of selections added.

Racecards quite frankly need work, with jockey, trainer, form and current market movements available, but BetGrouse does not even feature race silks, which is a bog standard feature of any race card worth its salt. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a dealbreaker, but when compared to Bet365 or even QuinnBet, this is not ideal for punters.

In terms of promotions, there are no options currently available, although there was a section for "Boosted Odds" which was at the time of the review, empty.

The lack of jockey silks is an aberration that needs addressing and looks unprofessional.

BetGrouse does feature racing outside of UK & Ireland, although, at the time of writing, there were only race markets from Australia, Bahrain and Italy available, however, it would be wise to expect race markets for USA, France and beyond to be available too, although markets are limited to win and place only.

As is the case with international betting, markets only tend to be available for the next race, so those looking for an international Yankee or Lucky 15 will be out of luck unfortunately.

BetGrouse offers favourable odds when compared to other bookmakers

The one major plus point for BetGrouse is its odds. Pricing for racing is relatively competitive, often matching bigger brand bookies, including Sky Bet and Coral, although the more cynical punter may suggest that this isn't too difficult!

As harsh as the numerous criticisms have been, the one solis I take from betting on horse racing at BetGrouse is that it will improve. It's a new sportsbook and it will take time to iron out the current issues, but on the whole it has potential, if you can bypass its flaws.

Football Betting

Football betting at BetGrouse fares much better than its horseracing counterpart, offering some daily price boosts and a workable bet builder option.

Finding matches is relatively straightforward, with a long list of nations, whose league and cups are available to bet upon. In total, there are a massive 70 nations featured, before we hit continental and international competitions., with such luminaries as Botswana and Guatemala featuring match betting.

Over 70 national leagues can be bet upon at BetGrouse, which is very impressive!

To put into context the number of games available, as I write, there are currently 1300+ matches to bet upon on this cold Thursday afternoon. Quite frankly, if you cannot find a match to bet on, I don't think any bookie can help you!

Market availability and range are very good at BetGrouse, with well over 50+ betting options available, covering results, goals, cards, team and player markets, plus Asian Handicaps.

Along with single bets and accas, BetGrouse offers a bet builder option which covers the majority of top leagues in and around Europe, along with continental and international matches. The bet builder allows you to select from pre-determined markets, such as outrights, goals, team and player options, with around 20 or so to choose from.

The bet builder is solid, although a few more markets wouldn't go amiss.

As is the case with bet builders across many sportsbook sites, the more prominent games feature more markets, but even with the 20+ available here, it isn't quite to the level of Sky Bet or Betway, who at times offer over double the number of bet builder options, but ultimately it does a competent job and is recommended for football backers.

Although there are no "Money Back" offers in any form at BetGrouse, they do offer enhanced odds on many matches while providing a few more based around accas or bet builders.

The selection tends to revolve around bigger contests or continental action involving British clubs, but it is great to see a small sportsbook providing these types of promotions for players.

Overall, BetGrouse football betting is a solid experience, with a competent bet builder and a huge range of markets available in general and is thoroughly recommended to football fans and punters alike.

E-Sports & Other Markets

Fans of E-sports will enjoy the coverage on offer at BetGrouse, with a dozen games available to bet upon, including CS:GO, Valorant, Overwatch and E-Soccer (EAFC24).

Markets can be a little limited, but feature outrights, map and handicap betting, plus markets for individual player stats, while the majority of these events can also be bet upon in-play too, with an E-Soccer contest providing 5-6 further markets.

To further add interest to the in-play markets, pretty much all e-sports events are shown via live streaming too. This is a really good section of the sportsbook, but it is a shame there are no enhanced odds or promos to round it off, with Midnite offering such bonuses to players on e-sports betting.

Going back to more traditional sporting endeavours, BetGrouse offers excellent coverage of American sports, with NBA and NFL match-ups offering well over 50+ markets and bet builders. NHL and MLB games do not feature quite so many markets, but do have bet builder options too.

Other popular sports such as Cricket, Darts, Tennis and Snooker are adequately covered, while those looking for niche sporting events will be pleased to find such entities as Kabaddi, Badminton, Gaelic Football, Hurling and Bandy available.

Players looking for specialised markets will be a little disappointed, with TV/Film offering Oscars and BBC SPOTY markets, while political betting is limited to the next US and UK elections.

Despite some site-wide issues, I have to credit BetGrouse for its market coverage, giving players plenty of options from popular sports to more niche titles and some great e-sports betting too.

Live Streaming & Virtual Feed

  • Live Streaming

Sports fans will be disappointed to read that there are no live streams of real sports contests at BetGrouse. This isn't too surprising for a new sportsbook and it may be something that changes over the course of the next year.

E-Sports fans however, do have live streaming available, with the majority of the events shown via feeds from Twitch or other streaming sites. This is great for the in-play markets available and streaming is clear both in terms of audio and visual quality.

For live streaming options, both BetVictor and Betfred offer solid choices.

Live streams of esports such as the Valkyrie Cup on EAFC 24 are great when in play betting too

Live streaming is reserved for e-sports contests, which is great for live in-play betting. Hopefully BetGrouse add more sports to the streaming list.

  • Virtual Feeds

Virtual feeds for sports are basic at best, offering very few stats, outside of the scoreline and the current time in the match.

Football matches show corners, yellow cards, red cards and goals, but there is no visualisation available to give an idea of game momentum or area of the pitch/court that play is currently in.

Once again, i have to give BetGrouse the benefit of the doubt here and hope that this is improved upon in the future, but for now if Virtual feeds are important to the player, then Betway or Bet365 is recommended, which give far more detail and better visualisation.

How Good Is The BetGrouse Mobile App?

Unfortunately, BetGrouse does not have a dedicated mobile app for either iOS or Android devices, although this tends to be inline with other AG Communication sportsbook and casino sites unfortunately.

  •  Mobile Web

In terms of using BetGrouse on mobile web browser, the general experience is satisfactory. All of the key features of the desktop site are naturally included on the mobile browser version, with the mobile touchscreen arguably improving navigation in some areas, especially when it comes to scrolling between sections.

Features such as live streaming (e-sports only) and live casino games worked well enough via Android browser for me during my review time, albeit quite data hungry, while more important betting features such as bet building, was competent enough to use.

Overall, I would argue that the mobile web version is easier to use than the desktop site.

Bet Grouse mobile images

BetGrouse on mobile web browser, looks and feels the part, although we hope for a dedicated app in the future!

Does BetGrouse Have Casino Games?

BetGrouse has a fully integrated casino alongside its sportsbook, featuring well over 2000+ games to choose from, with slots dominating the majority of the numbers, alongside table and live casino games.

BetGrouse plays host to well over 1600+ slot games, with over 50 Jackpot games and over 35+ Drops And Wins titles too, so whether you bagging a huge prize, ranking up the leaderboard or just having a quiet spin or two, there is something for all player types.

BetGrouse has featured and new game lists updated on a continual basis, with classics such as Book Of Dead and Big Bass Bonanza, joined by new additions like Dark Odds and Megaways Jack Frost.

Slot games load instantaneously and work well, with plenty of options for players, including payline information, how to play, sound and full screen choices.

Betgrouse Slots page

BetGrouse features over 1600+ slot titles to choose from, with plenty of Jackpot games, plus Drops And Wins titles

Live Casino

BetGrouse features 140+ live casino games, including roulette, baccarat, blackjack and poker, along with gameshow style titles such as Crazy Time and Funky Time.

It is great to also find less popular games such as Andar Bahar, Sic Bo and Dragon Tiger featured in the live setting too, which is not so common among casino sites.

The majority of the live games are operated by Evolution Gaming, coming with their distinct quality in terms of presentation and audio/visual quality.

It should be noted that on the desktop version of BetGrouse, there is no sub-menu for Live Casino games, so players have to manually search for a title, which is not ideal. It is also even more perplexing when the mobile web browser version of the site has a menu dedicated to live games and is something that needs fixing quickly.

Table Games

Table games are starting to be neglected in favour of live games and slots, with BetGrouse also going down this route, with just 30 table game titles available.

Barring a couple of titles, all games were variations on blackjack and roulette, which is disappointing and feels a token gesture at most.

once again, as is the case with live casino games, there is no dedicated section on desktop, although this is remedied on the web browser version for easier access.

Casino menus on mobile browser

In an odd UI choice, both live games and table games menus are only available on the mobile website.

Payment Methods

BetGrouse has around eight options for payments, with all methods requiring a minimum deposit of £10.

Available Payment Options:

  • Bank/Debit Card (VISA/Mastercard)
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer
  • Trustly
  • Skrill
  • AstroPay
  • MuchBetter
  • Paysafecard

All of the above methods with the exception of Paysafecard can be used for withdrawals, with a minimim withdrawable amount of £10 per transaction.

There are no fees charged for withdrawals.

How Long Are Withdrawal Times?

Withdrawing funds at BetGrouse can take anywhere from 0-6 days, depending on the method used.

Bank/debit cards take up to 2 days to process, although the BetGrouse site suggests four days, while most e-wallets are between 2-4 days.

The longest transfer is for withdrawals via bank transfer, which can take up to 6 days.

How Good Is The Customer Service?

BetGrouse provides solid, if unspectacular customer service options, with live chat and e-mail as the only available options, but no contact phone number either, which is disappointing.

To further add to the frustration, their Live Chat option is only available between 8:00 am and 0:00 am (CET), so not ideal for late-night players. However, when communicating with the Live Chat, queries was dealt with promptly and without issue.

BetGrouse does gain credit for their on-site document uploader, for players who need to verify their identity. This is much more straightforward than other sites, which sometimes ask players to visit a third-party website.
