FafaBet Closed For Upgrade
In case you were unaware, FafaBet (owned & operated by Taichi Tech Limited) is currently closed to all players due to a "Platform Upgrade, with players unable to access their accounts and their funds, which will cause massive concern.
On an initial skimming of the statement as found here and available below, it reads fine. Players will see Fafabet return with a fresh website and app, improving players' gambling experience.
However, on closer inspection, there are one or two red flags....

Is FafaBet Actually Closing For Good?
When online bookmakers cease trading, there are a few tell-tale signs, including:
- Inability To Create A New Account
- Limited/No Access To Your Account And Funds
- Ante-Post Bets Voided/Refunded
- A Specified Timeframe To Request Withdrawals
To add fuel to the fire regarding a potential closure, Taichi Tech Limited was fined £170,000 by the UK Gambling Commission due to rule breaches earlier this year.
Now, to be very fair to Taichi Tech Limited, this may well be coincidental, and does not mean they are definitely closing at this stage, but as a punter myself, I would be looking to remove funds as soon as I can, to protect my own interests.

I Have A FafaBet Account, What Do I Do?
If you have a Fafabet account, there are some things you can do.
Existing customers may contact Customer Support via support@fafabet.co.uk to check balances and withdraw funds until 31st October 2025.
After this date, you will have until 30th November 2025 to withdraw remaining funds by contacting Customer Support.
New UK Gambling Commission rules from 31 October 2025 state that gambling businesses are required to remind you every 6 months if they hold your funds and they are not protected. You must acknowledge receipt of the notification before you will be allowed to use funds held for gambling.
So, if you are inclined to trust in Fafabet's hopeful return, it would be useful to query the above with them, to make sure funds are protected.
Editors Opinion

I genuinely hope that Taichi Tech Limited gets Fafabet back up and running, as from a professional point of view, the sportsbook and casino experience was excellent and provided plenty of fun for the team here at Bookies Bonuses.
However, as a punter, the statement, their current actions and some cursory Googling do not paint a healthy picture in general. So, I would advise players who hold accounts to approach support@fafabet.co.uk and request the withdrawal of their balance as a precaution.
Good luck!
