Despite a long history of Argentinian players playing in La Liga, the two nations have rarely gone head to head, with fourteen meetings overall, and just five since 1995.
The one competitive contest between the two sides was back in 1966, with Argentina winning 2-1, when Luis Artime bagged a brace.
The last meeting between the two was in 2018, when Spain ran out 6-1 victors, with Isco scoring a hat-trick in Madrid.
Previous to that encounter, Argentina ran out 4-1 winners in a 2010 match in Buenos Aires, with goals from Messi, Tevez, Aguero and Higuain.

Match Verdict
Based on the two nations runs in the tournament and moreover the semi-final performances, Spain look the big favourites here.
Argentina found it difficult against England until the tactical changes and the Three Lions sat back, I don't see that happening with Spain, who engineered a near perfect performance to halt the French attack.
I expect Argentina to attempt to break the game down and stop Spain building momentum, but I would be incredibly surprised to see the European Champions leave without another addition to the trophy cabinet.

2.2 Free Bet General Terms
If not used, the Free Bet Tokens will expire 7 days after being credited (unless specified otherwise in offer terms).
The Free Bet Tokens cannot be used to place multi-line multiple bets (e.g. Trixie’s, Patents, Yankees etc.) Should the Free Bet Tokens be
placed on a selection that is later voided, the stakes will be returned to your account as a Free Bet.
