The Memorial Tournament - Boyle Sports Boosts

The PGA Tour moves on to Dublin, Ohio and the famous Muirfield Village, as a limited field of 72 players take part in the Memorial Tournament presented by Work Day.

Muirfield Village is often referred to as Jack's Place, after Jack Nicklaus, plays to a Par 72, and over 7,569 yards,. The course is known for it's tight and undulating fairways, heavy rough and fast greens, with players requiring a great all-round game to conquer.

The course record is a 61 (-11) scored by John Houston way back in 1996

The course was originally designed by Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead, opening in 1976,

Despite a smaller, invited field, once again a competitive contest is expected over the four days at Muirfield Village, with Boyle Sports still offering 10 PLACES on the event.

Last year's winner and favourite is Scottie Scheffler (14/5). The American beat Ben Griffin by four strokes last year. A victory among seven Top 5's so far this year and comes into this event looking for a third straight win at The Memorial.

Rory McIlory (8/1) is unsurprisingly the main threat to Scheffler's reign, having secured another Masters win in April. T19 and T7 since then and will be looking to improve here, having finished no higher than T4 on his visits here.

Ludvig Aberg (10/1) enjoyed a week off and comes into this event in strong shape, having secured nine successive Top 25 finishes and six Top 10s in the last eight events. A top five here previously, offers further encouragement.

Cameron Young (12/1) continues to look for a third season win, having won the Players' and Cadillac Championship. has been enjoying a break after his T26 at the PGA Championship. Playing well and can improve his record here, this week.

Xander Schauffele (12/1) has six Top 12 finishes or better in the last eight events and placed T7 at the PGA Championship, before enjoying a couple of weeks off. Potential horse for the course, having placed T25 or better in the last seven visits to this event.
