1. Deposit Promotional Offer
   Occasionally Tipico will send you an email or an account message that allows you to use a promotional offer. When you receive the promotional offer, you can claim it by depositing a minimum of €10. The wagering requirements for the bonus amount are as follows: odds 1.5 and 6 times turnover within 30 days.
   
   

2. Direct Promotional Offer
   You will receive an account message with a direct promotional offer from time to time and the exact wagering requirements will be described in the offer. If they are not, the following applies: minimal odds of 1.5 and 6 times turnover within 30 days.
   
   

3. Free Bets
   You can receive the occasional bonus of free bets in your account. If no special conditions are specified, then you need to stick to the general terms for free bets, which are no minimal odds, but maximum odds of 500.0, and the free bet expires after 7 days, so use it quickly! After you wager your free bet, any winnings you make must be wagered 1 time within 7 days, or they will also expire. Last but not least, when using free bets as your stake, when you win you do not get that amount back.
   
   Here is an example of it all in action:
   You get €10 in free bets. You must use the full amount on one bet within 7 days. Let’s say your bet wins and you win €20. The free bet amount will not be given back to you, but the other €10 you won, will. Now you have another 7 days to bet this new €10 before it expires. After you have wagered your winnings and the bets have settled, you can keep them and withdraw them.
   
   

4. Risk-free Bets
   Just like all other Tipico bonuses, you can only place these on single or accumulator (combination) bets. This does not include system bets. Note that you can only use this type of bet for short-term or soon-happening events and not for seasonal events. There are no wagering requirements and no minimal odds, but maximum odds of 500.0 apply.
   
   Here is how it works.
   You receive a “risk-free bet”. You bet €20 from your own money and select the option “risk-free” before placing it. Now if you win the bet, you get your stake AND your winnings back. If your bet loses, you get your stake (your €20) back and you need to wager them again with ANY odds within 7 days or you will not keep the amount. After completing the wagering requirements for the refunded bet you can withdraw it if you wish.

Tipico launched their website in 2005, after being licenced in Malta in 2004. In 2014 the site became number one in Germany and the 2018 Bundesliga partnership once again reaffirmed the strong and serious intentions of the bookmaker to provide its customers with the best products and services on the market.

Tipico is owned by Tipico Co. Ltd. and is registered in Malta with registration number C 34286. Tipico also holds a German licence - RPDA - Dec. lll 34-73 c 38.01/6-2019/4, so it is completely legal to use for betting.

The website itself is well-optimised on desktop and mobile. Navigating to different markets and pages is easy and intuitive, so luckily you won’t be pulling your hair out trying to find the World Cup or any Bundesliga matches, YAY!

Of course, in typical German nature, the site’s colour is grey throughout, but there’s also some red 😏. Still, menus are well separated and easy on the eyes, and the website is personally my favourite of the bunch because of the care put into it.

The mobile version, in case you don’t want yet ANOTHER app on your phone, is great too.

Tipico has a mobile app and it’s great, with nice navigation and quick-loading pages.

It’s currently rated 4.5 stars on the Google Play Store and I can see why - it sends great notifications, and everything I can do on the desktop version, I can also do on the app.

And what’s more, I stay logged into the app, so when I am urgently scrambling to place a last-minute bet, I don’t have to worry about logging in to the website.

Unfortunately, Tipico doesn’t feature any virtual sports yet, as for esports… you can forget about it, as the legislation in Germany prohibits it. For this reason, the company keeps focusing on real live sports events currently.

I found Tipico’s website very easy and pleasant to use. Despite the dull colours and lack of character, the site feels modern, quick and snappy. The mobile version of the website is well-optimised and I had no problems placing bets from my phone.

Tipico also rocks a very nice mobile app for Android and IOS devices, which sends neat notifications and reminders. I installed and tested it and also found it great to use. The menus are easy to find and matches take seconds to bet on - great for those last-second panic attacks when you realise the game is about to start and you forgot to punt on your team!

Usually, bookmakers include a small visual representation of the match, so you can follow the game, without watching the live stream.

Tipico also includes a small, and I would say too small actually, screen in the top right corner of its site, where you can follow the games.

While I am not the biggest fan of the way the game is presented, mainly because of how quickly it disappears, it definitely serves its purpose and works well.

Tipico has a very good selection of payment methods at their disposal. It is worth noting that maximum weekly winnings are capped at €100,000, so you might only be able to withdraw this type of money through a SEPA bank transfer or through VISA.
