England play Argentina in the heat of Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday, with a place in the World Cup Final at stake.
England continued to make hard work of their matches, as they came back from a goal down and rode their luck somewhat, to beat Norway 2-1 after extra-time, with Jude Bellingham the hero, thanks to his two goals.
Argentina, like their opponents, have not been super convincing, and were forced to extra-time by a compact Switzerland side, who eventually went down to ten men. Eventually, the World Champions found the breakthrough, before adding a third to win the match 3-1.

The two nations have met fourteen times overall, with England holding a solid record against the South American nation. With a chequered history between the two nations outside of sport, this contest has always been more than just a football match.
Since the infamous "hand of god" defeat in 1986, Argentina have beaten England once in the last five meetings, with a 4-3 penalty shootout win at France '98, after a 2-2 draw.
The last competitive contest, was in Japan back in the 2002 World Cup, with David Beckham scoring to win 1-0, in his redemption game, having been sent off in 1998, while a 2005 friendly (the last meeting), ended with a 3-2 England victory.
Incidentally, this will be the first time Lionel Messi has faced England during his long, illustrious career.

Match Verdict
This is a tough one to call, as both sides have struggled to break down opposition at times.
England struggled against DR Congo and Ghana, while Argentina conceded multiple goals against Cape Verde and Egypt.
Both sides are better going forward, so it may come down the odd goal in five, if defences perform as they have, which will be exciting and blood pressure inducing too!
With plenty of Premier League representation in the Argentine side, I expect a relatively open match, with extra time a strong possibility, as well as a few cards.
Prediction: England... but it may go all the way.
