England beat Mexico 3-2 in a thrilling contest, that showed guile and determination, especially after Jarell Quansah's unfortunate red card. There were plenty of positives and Jude Bellingham's performance was one of his best in an England shirt.
Norway reached their first ever World Cup quarter-final, with a 2-1 win over Brazil, which was arguably better than the score line suggests. Haaland's brace was cancelled out by a late Neymar penalty, but once again a hard working performance, cemented Norway's position as a top top side.

The most famous contest between the two was back in 1981, when Norway beat England for the first time, taking a 2-1 win, with commentator, Bjorge Lillelien's stating the famous line "You're boys took one hell of a beating".

Match Verdict
Heat and humidity will be huge factors for this contest in Miami, but with both coming through tough contests in stressful conditions, I still expect a Premier League style tussle between two sides who like to be physical.
With Harry Kane and Erling Haaland upfront, both defences are likely to get exposed on occasion, but for me, the main battle will be in midfield.
It is unlikely that Martin Odegaard will be afforded the space he had against Brazil, especially with Arsenal teammate Declan Rice and Elliott Anderson in the middle for the Three Lions, so I expect the Norwegian creativity to come on the wings, with Nusa and Bobb.
On the flip side, Jude Bellingham will once again be pivotal, alongside Harry Kane, but if Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon fire on all cylinders, I don't see the Norway backlines coping.
England go in as favourites, and with the hard fought win over Mexico instilling further belief, you have to feel that a semi-final place awaits, assuming they can keep Erling Haaland at bay.
Prediction: England 2-1.
