What is Sky Bet AccaFreeze?

Sky Bet's AccaFreeze gives players the chance to take the pain out of their five-fold+ accumulators, by ending a selection early.

Applying to football accas in the full-time result market, one selection from a qualifying bet can be "frozen" if they take the lead at any time, so if a particular selection goes ahead in a tight encounter, you can in effect end the game there and then, so that selection will be designated as a win, no matter the actual outcome of the game.

In essence, this is similar to Sky Bet's "Early Payout" offer, which automatically designates specific bets as won, when a team goes two goals ahead, once again regardless of what happens in the remaining minutes of the match.

Using AccaFreeze is a lot more straightforward than you may think. Check out the four-step guide below, you'll be freezing your bets in no time!

Build Your Acca

Build a football accumulator of 5+ selections from the full-time results market and make sure that at least one selection is for the win market (Draw selections cannot be frozen)

Once you are happy with your selections, add them to the betslip and place your bet.

View Your Bet In The My Bets Section

Once your bet has been placed, you can go to the "My Bets" section of your Sky Bet account and track your bets.

If one of your win selections takes the lead, a freeze option will appear, giving the option to freeze the result immediately

Freeze Your Selection!

If you wish to use the freeze option, select the game you wish to freeze and on doing so you will be asked to "Confirm Selection To Freeze".

If you are 100% sure, go ahead and confirm the selection, however, players are advised to be 100% on their decision, as firstly you only get one freeze per acca and you cannot "unfreeze" the selection once confirmed.

Wait For Your Other Results

Once you have frozen a selection, it will appear with a blue tick next to it, along with the current live scoreline from the match.

If your remaining selections go on to win alongside your frozen selection, then you win!

What Markets Can I Use AccaFreeze On?

Currently, AccaFreeze is only available on football accumulators of five or more selections, for the full-time result market. Only win selections can be frozen, with draw bets understandably excluded.

How Many Times Can I Use Acca Freeze?

One AccaFreeze is allowed per qualifying accumulator bet. Once a selection has been frozen, it is impossible to reverse the choice.

Players are allowed a total of five Acca Freezes per week at this time, with a maximum stake of £20 per acca. If the stake is higher, the acca does not qualify for Acca Freeze.

Are Odds Affected By AccaFreeze?

No, AccaFreeze does not affect the original odds taken when placing the bet, so even if you freeze a selection after the first minute, the pay odds remain the same.
