Profit boosts are probably the most common parlay betting boost, and are applied directly to the overall wager rather than increasing individual legs.
Some bonuses offer a flat percentage boost as long as you make a qualifying wager, but other parlay profit boost promotions will increase the boost the more legs you add (Bet365 is a perfect example with the maximum bonus at 14 legs of 70%!).
There is one major thing to keep in mind with profit boost promotions - there may be a limit to how much of you bet stake will get the boost applied. Basically you're allowed to place as much money on a parlay that you want, but the profit boost promotion will almost certainly be capped at a certain level, usually around the $25-$50 range. When you see this, we would recommend only betting that amount, since any additional wager will be paid out as standard, so it might be smarter to create a totally different wager to move some eggs into a different basket.
Parlay Profit Boost Example:
Caesars Sportsbook is an excellent choice for profit boost promos, generally offering between 25%-50% boosted profits on qualifying parlays. Recently they featured a same game parlay profit boost for the NBA Playoffs of 50%.
Wager Requirements: 3+ Legs, Minimum Odds +300, Maximum Wager the boost applies to of $50
- NY Knicks Spread +5.5 (-110)
- Julius Randle Double Double YES (+219)
- Caris LeVert Points O 13.5 (-125)
3 Leg SGP Odds: +1100
For this parlay profit boost, you needed to wager on a NBA Playoff Game (SGP), and pick at least three legs which total would have odds of +300 or greater, which is pretty easy to hit with a parlay. The main this to not with this promotions (and is the case with most other) is that the profit boost will only be applied to the first $50 wagered, with a standard payout on any amount wagered over that limit.
