BetTarget entered the UK market in August 2021 and they have already made a big impact in a crowded space.

On the design side of things, BetTarget is pretty straightforward. The homepage shows a range of live and upcoming events, and in the sidebar you will find all of the sports and competitions on offer.

Football bettors will be quite pleased with the number of markets on offer. There are thousands of outcomes that you can back for each game, including Asian handicaps, and even some rather unusual markets such as predicting a five-goal sequence, but the biggest drawback with BetTarget's football section is the lack of bet builders.
One pleasing element of the BetTarget sportsbook, though, is the horse racing offering. It's something that many new betting sites neglect - but not this one.
We were delighted with how easy it was to get our racing bets on with BetTarget.
Admittedly, there could be more analysis of each horse and some other markets besides win and each-way, but what is there will be more than enough for most punters.

BetTarget Sports Betting
The BetTarget sportsbook is closer to Bet365 than it is to Paddy Power in terms of how it looks and how it presents itself.
What I mean by that is that it appears to be aimed more at serious bettors than those who bet for pure entertainment.
It looks a bit like a spreadsheet and relies on a large range of betting options rather than promotions or odds boosts.
BetTarget Football Betting
There are odds on pretty much any game taking place on any given day, and you can find the game you are looking for by using the sidebar or the search tool, but it would be nice if the biggest games were on display as soon as you arrive on the homepage, as would almost certainly be the case on a site like Bet365.
Instead, quite a random set of games are shown in the highlights section which is quite frustrating, although navigation is a lot easier on the mobile app.
Some rather niche football fixtures were shown here when we expected some big Nations League fixtures to be on display.
However, the variety on display once you find the game you want is exemplary.
As is the case with every bookie, the bigger games have more markets available, but even the lesser matches have plenty for you to choose from.
BetTarget Bet Builder
BetTarget has recently added a much-needed bet builder to the sportsbook and as much as it is appreciated, it does need some work to get it to the standards set by other bookmakers.
A Champions League tie between PSV Eindhoven and Arsenal had just eighteen markets available for selection, which is less than half of the other builders out there. It is early days, but improvements do need to be made, although it should be mentioned that the bet builder is for football, NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA markets.
In terms of odds, BetTarget's prices aren't terrible but also aren't as competitive as the likes of Unibet. We looked at a handful of international fixtures on the day this review was written, and found that BetTarget's margin on 1X2 markets was around 6% on average, whereas Unibet only took around 4%.

BetTarget Final Verdict
BetTarget Summary
They have a few things to work on before we can put them up there with the most popular bookmakers in the UK, but BetTarget has got off to a very good start.
By putting some effort into their horse racing section, they have shown that they are serious about the UK market, which is a good indicator that things will continue to get better, while the dedicated mobile app makes betting so much easier on the go.
We like the football betting section too - it could just do with being a bit more optimised towards British punters.

Reviewer's Verdict
I've never typically wanted to deviate from the classic, reliable bookmakers like William Hill and Ladbrokes, but some features on BetTarget have drawn me to them.
The football betting section has so many unique types of wagers that I've just never seen on any other site. They really do a great job of offering as wide a range as possible for every fixture, although their recently added bet builder does require some work.
I'm also a fan of the Target tips, as they are fully backed up by stats and even rated out of 5 which is the type of transparency you want from a betting site.
If BetTarget can sort out an app, I can see this becoming a favourite of mine.
