Midnite Review

Midnite offers a very focused and streamlined experience, but it does play host to a few sportsbook features that have become the norm across most bookies, including:

• In-Play Betting

Now a staple of sports betting, Midnite's in-play offering does the job well, providing some 30+ markets at any one time, dependent on the event in-play and time played. Everything from next goal, next point winner to handicap markets are available, while sports such as baseball and badminton get the same treatment as bigger events such as football.

• Acca Assist

Acca Assist is a nice little feature that shows all sporting events over a 12hr, 24hr and 7-day period, that can be added to an accumulator bet. The list spans the entire sporting gamut and makes for an easy option for players to create a sporting acca in very little time.

• Bet Builder

Midnite offers a very good bet builder option, with Football, Basketball and American Football options available. 

Creating a bet builder is extremely easy, with players going into a selected game or match and then switching to "build mode" via a simple click.

Everything from the correct score and anytime scorer to over/under markets are available, with over 30 markets on bigger events, with smaller contests offering fewer options. Coverage is good, although limited to more popular leagues, so don't expect a bet builder on Australian A-League Women's contests just yet.

Midnite Website

On visiting Midnite for the first time, users will find a relatively unobtrusive site, which is easy to navigate and easy on the eye. Sport, Esports, Racing, Casino and Virtuals are listed at the top for quick access to those sections. Sports are listed to the left as is the norm for most sportsbooks, with quick access points and popular events featured, plus promos, in-play games and much more.

• Navigation

The site is very easy to navigate, while managing your account or betting selections are very clear, with player account options to the top right, offering the usual banking and help features.

Large logos next to the text makes finding a specific sport simple, with a click on a specific sport, users are taken to a screen which has Featured, Matches, In-Play and Outright betting sections, while those looking for specific events, can search via Competition name too.

• Placing Bets

Placing a bet adds the selection to the betting slip, which sits on the right side of the screen, this can be minimised and maximised as needed, without hindering navigation. When more than a single selection is made, players have the option of placing singles or multiples. On picking four UK horse racing selections, I could create doubles and trebles, plus a Yankee, but there was oddly no option for a Lucky 15 which is a little disappointing.

Overall, Midnite doesn't appear flashy or colourful, but then it simply does not need to. Using the site was enjoyable and the sense of simplicity from its design offers a pleasant change when compared to other bookie sites.

Midnite Mobile App

Midnite has a good dedicated mobile app for both iOS and Android, with the Android app launching recently. Both apps are available from the relevant app store and are straightforward to install while logging or creating an account is quick and easy.

• Navigation

Having tried both the mobile app and mobile site, I am pleased to say that both offer as good an experience as the desktop version, with the clean interface and layout used here too and with all functions available, including the bet builder "Build Mode" function.

• Placing Bets

Placing bets is just as easy on a mobile device, with selection appearing on the betslip at the bottom of the screen, with players able to minimise and maximise the betslip as they see fit. 

Once again, the devs have done a fine job in transferring the desktop experience across to mobile devices, with all features intact and the user interface running identically.

Midnite's sportsbook offering is generally decent, but a few notable absentees really stop it from being as great as it can be.

• Markets

With over 30+ sports available, players have a solid selection of markets available, including football, tennis and basketball, with anywhere up to 50 markets for each event. E-sports in particular gets plenty of attention and has its own dedicated section too.

A recent update has finally seen the inclusion of horse racing markets, which is a much-needed addition for any bookmaker offering sports betting in the UK, although it does need a little work.

Elsewhere the likes of Golf and Snooker have improved coverage and more markets since the November 2023 update, while fans of American Sports are well-catered for with plenty of markets across NBA, MLB, NHL and NFL matches and with bet builder functions too.

Bet builders on American sports is a great addition for fans and punters alike.

• Betting Options

In terms of bet types, Midnite is a little limited when it comes to available markets. Prior to the recent update, certain system bets were unavailable, including Lucky 15's which made sense, due to the lack of horse racing. 

However, now that betting on the nags is available, there are still gaps, including the strange absence of Lucky 15's, which hopefully will be addressed soon.

It isn't all doom and gloom for Midnite though, with a superb bet builder function, allowing players to simply create their pre-match multiple via the "Build Mode" function, taking the pain out of navigation and bet selection in one fell swoop.

In-play is where Midnite really flourishes however, offering up to 40 markets for everything from football to e-sports and beyond. This does apply to bigger events and fixture for the most part, but I have noticed an uptick in covered sports over the last month or so.

• Overview

Overall, Midnite has gone from a decent sportsbook to a great one, thanks to a recent update, which has improved bet building, added horse racing, added an Android app and widened the range of markets available 

The future of Midnite looks very bright at the moment and with a few more tweaks and additions, it will easily become a go to for many punters.

A huge site-wide update has seen the welcome addition of Midnite Casino, offering over 600+ titles across slots, table games and live games.

The casino menus are a joy to navigate, with popular games, new games and other themed lists available to look through, while a top-notch search function lets players filter by provider or search individually for titles.

• SLOTS

Unsurprisingly, the majority of the 600+ games are taken up by slots, with just shy of 500 to choose from. 

These games include all-time classics such as Fishin Frenzy, Rainbow Riches and Eye Of Horus through to new games including Wild Party Jokers and The Godfather.

Megaways feature heavily too, with over 50 titles to play, although a lack of tournaments is a disappointment for those interested in those types of competition.

Loading is instantaneous, with every slot game having a free play option, giving players the opportunity to try new games without risking real funds!

There are plenty of options available too, with full-screen mode, sound options and how-to guides for each slot, while games can be favourited for easy access later and recent games played also appear towards the bottom of the slots lists.

There are a decent number of slots to play, although the range is somewhat limited by the absence of certain providers, such as NetEnt and PlayNGo

Live Casino

Live Casino is still in its infancy at Midnite, with around 20+ available games to play now and strictly limited to variations on Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat.

Games load instantly, with good audio and visual quality, while hosts are friendly and welcoming. Players will notice the lack of Evolution Gaming options, so don't expect gameshows like Crazy Time or Monopoly Big Baller to be available.

Overall, live casino is off to an okay start, but I expect Midnite to flesh this out as time goes on.

Table Games

Table games are slightly more varied than the live casino offering, with over 65+ titles. There are plenty of favourites in this section, such as 20p Roulette, Solitaire and Lightning Keno.

Once again, games load quickly, with each game offering sound and visual options, plus a How To Play explainer too, while each game can be trialled via the free play mode.

Midnite offers a nice range of titles in this section and with other casino sites steadily removing table games, it's good to see plenty of options available for players here.
