A goalless draw at Southampton hurt their bid for a Champions League place, and even with the strong record against their south London opponents, the lack of goals is a concern, even with Erling Haaland's recent return from injury.

My Tips:
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City is the strong favourite to win the match, with form back to the expected level, and a strong recent record against Palace (4 wins, 3 draws in the last 7) adds to that sentiment.
The Crystal Palace form has been spectacular, with two losses in fourteen. Eberechi Eze and Jean-Philippe Mateta have drawn the plaudits upfront, but Marc Guehi, Daniel Munoz and Maxence Lacroix have been equally important at the back during the run and will need to be at their best here. Guehi was absent in the 5-2 loss at City last month.
In terms of injuries, Manchester City welcomed Erling Haaland back last weekend, but Stones, Ake and Rodri are not expected to play. Crystal Palace have one injury concern, with Adam Wharton being assessed and is 50/50 at the time of writing.
The last four games between the two sides have seen 21 goals, and I expect another entertaining thriller once again, with City just edging it, ahead of the South London side.

Love the Cup!
As a Crystal Palace resident (albeit not a supporter), I have witnessed a return of that "Cup Final buzz" that has been missing for a few years, with posters and banners in shop windows and a general air of excitement that takes me back to fonder times.
