Wales will be looking to get their 2026 World Cup Qualifying campaign off to a strong start, as Craig Bellamy's side hosts Kazakhstan looking to extend their recent run of good form.

Wales were unbeaten in all six Nations League matches, in a group that included Turkiye and Iceland. The Dragons moved on from the 0-0 draw in Gibraltar last Summer and look like a side that can push Belgium for the top spot in the group, with a play-off place at the very least expected.

Kazakhstan has at times produced some impressive performances, including a 3-0 beating of Scotland in 2019 and a 3-2 win over Denmark in 2023, however, the current side has struggled for form, picking up a single draw in eleven matches, including a 2-0 loss to North Korea. A recent 2-0 win over Curacao will have helped with morale, but winning against a side who were themselves beaten by St. Lucia (ranked 161 in world football) is unlikely to strike fear in the Wales team.
