Players can switch between live and pre-match fixtures and specific markets, although navigation can be a little awkward, thanks to the over-reliance on drop-down menus, in general, players can get to where they wish to be.

The site itself is a little cumbersome to use, with button presses either not registering, or lagging, to the point where I would press once again, only to be thrown to a different menu or selection. Pages can also fail to load properly, which happens on a couple of rare occasions for me.

In general, placing bets was without any issues, with bets appearing immediately in the bet slip, with further options available, such as accas and system bets all able to be made with a few clicks.

Account details and cashier options were readily available and without issue, while assistance was always readily available via the customer support menu.

Overall the site ran well enough, although navigation was regularly hampered by technical issues, such as the lag between button presses, however, this looks to be an issue that could be easily fixed going forward.

• Betrino Mobile App

There is no direct Betrino app for either iOS or Android as yet, which is disappointing, especially as the optimised version of the website for mobile has carried over with some of its current issues.

The site is cumbersome and sluggish at times for users on mobile, with some button presses simply not registering or lagging before catching up on itself, which can be frustrating.

It's clear that a dedicated app would iron these types of issues out and hopefully, that is something that happens going forward, but for now, players will need to be a tad more patient.

There is no live streaming available at all on Betrino, which is very disappointing for a modern sports betting site.

Finding events and specific markets is relatively straightforward, with players able to select the sport and drill down further into the drop-down menus to find a specific game or match-up, however as discussed elsewhere, minor technical issues can make this a more tedious process than it needs to be.

As well as in-play and pre-match sections, players have access to a live overview, showing all the scores of ongoing games, no matter the sport, which is handy for those looking to bet on an in-play market.

Useful calendar and results features, document upcoming games and results that have been played, to keep players up to date, which is a handy feature for users.

We have seen what Betrino has to offer in terms of markets available, but how reliable is Betrino in terms of its payout on winning bets?

Using a midweek Champions League fixture as a reference, I calculated and compared the margin on a three-way market, to see where Betrino ranks in comparison.

As can be seen above, Betrino fares very poorly amongst its peers for payouts, sitting some 3% lower than 32Red, although it did match Sky Bet quite well.

Betrino offers a very strong casino service for players, without the need to create another account.

Overall, Betrino does a good job of catering for casino players, with plenty of titles to play, but could potentially improve with more games added to its table and live games sections.
