Tottenham travel to Germany for the second leg contest against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Ange Postecoglou's job arguably on the line, alongside the Spurs' season as a whole.

Eintracht Frankfurt beat relegation-threatened Heidenheim 3-0, with goals from Bahoya, Koch and Ekitike. "Die Adler" were either fortunate or unfortunate, depending on which side of the fence you sit on. Spurs were denied by the woodwork and a big performance by the goalkeeper, while Frankfurt should have put the game to bed with several opportunities.

Frankfurt afforded Heidenheim fourteen shots at goal in that victory, but will need to tighten up against a Spurs side who usually need little invitation to score.

Spurs have not kept a clean sheet in ten matches

Tottenham played out a comedy of errors as they lost 4-2 at Wolves on Sunday, conceding within the first two minutes. Even with changes made, there were no excuses for Christian Romero or Guglielmo Vicario in goal, as Wolves continued to accept the gifts presented to them.

Ange Postecolgou would have hoped for a relatively tame match, but the result does has amplified the pressure on him and his side going into this match. He does have Dejan Kulusevski returning to the fray, but it's in defence that Spurs need to step up, if they are to reach the last four.
