Cheltenham Festival Ticket Giveaway (“Offer”) Rules

1. Who can take part?

• These Virgin Bet Raceday Ticket & Free Bets Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions provide information on prizes and how to participate and form the Terms and Conditions of entry. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

(a) be 18 years of age or over and be a resident of, and physically located in the United Kingdom;

(b) be a registered Member of Virgin Bet United Kingdom who has accepted the Virgin Bet Terms and Conditions; and

(c) not be subject to any responsible gambling restrictions on your Account if that restriction would make you unable to take part in this Promotion,

excluding employees and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” family), of the Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion.

2. Promoter

• Virgin Bet Limited( "Promoter” or “we"). Our registered place of business is at 7.01, 7th Floor World Trade Centre, 6 Bayside, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA.

3. Promotion

• During the Offer Period, opt in & place a cash bet of £10 or more on Horse Racing
• The Offer Period: 10:00 UK time 24/02/25 and 23:59 UK time 02/03/25.

4. Maximum Number of entries

• You may only qualify to enter this Promotion once. Each qualifying and eligible entrant will receive one entry to the Prize Draw.

5. Prizes

There are four (4) prizes available to be won in this Promotion:

• 2x Two General Admission tickets to Cheltenham on 11th March & £50 in non-withdrawable Free Bet Tokens
• 2x Two General Admission tickets to Cheltenham on 12th March & £50 in non-withdrawable Free Bet Tokens
• 2x Two General Admission tickets to Cheltenham on 13th March & £50 in non-withdrawable Free Bet Tokens
• 2x Two General Admission tickets to Cheltenham on 14th March & £50 in non-withdrawable Free Bet Tokens

  
  

6. Prize Conditions

(a) The race day tickets must be taken on the date specified and are subject to terms and conditions of Ayr Racecourse including use and expiry. See website: https://www.thejockeyclub.co.u...

(b) The non-withdrawable Free Bet Tokens element of the Prize may only be used on any sport and will be credited to their Virgin Bet account shortly after the Winner accepts the prize. The Free Bet Tokens will be credited as 2 x £25 free bet tokens shortly after the Winner accepts a Prize. Free Bets need to be accepted with a within 7 days of appearing in the Winner’s Virgin Bet Member account and used within 7 days of acceptance or else they will expire.

(c) The Prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to require the prize winner to provide proof of age, identity and residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person who fails to provide the required information or provides false information.

(d) Both elements of the Prize must be accepted by the Winner.

(e) The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not substitutable for cash.

(g) Prize Winner and their guest must be 18 years or over to attend.

(h) A prize winner may be required to sign a legal release prior to receiving a Prize, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

7. Prize Draw & Winner Notification & Acceptance

(a) The random Prize Draw will take place on Monday 3rd March 2025 where winners and reserve winners shall be drawn.

(b) Each Winner will be notified by the Promoter by email within 72 hours of the prize draw.

(c) If you are the Winner of a Prize:

i. Winners will have 48 hours from the date of the Promoter’s notification to accept the Prize. If Winners do not respond via Rich Inbox within the stated time period, the Promoter, in its sole discretion, will forfeit the Prize or award the Prize to the next drawn eligible entrant. No substitute will be offered.

8. What can I do with the Free Bet Token?

● You can only use the Free Bet Token on any sportsbook market to place a single selection or accumulator bet, of the same value as the Free Bet Token, and with odds of 1/100 or greater.

● The Free Bet Token can't be:

○ used on each-way, multiples, forecasts or tricast bets,

○ withdrawn as cash,

○ used to claim a Bonus, or

○ used with any other Free Bet Token or cash bet.

● The Free Bet Token will not be returned as a stake on a winning bet.

9. What else do I need to know?

• We will have the final decision over selection of the winners and this decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
• We may verify your eligibility to this Promotion and check your identity. If you have been asked for proof of your identity and/or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time could result in disqualification or the withdrawal of any prize.
• A Prize will not be awarded to you if, for any reason, to do so would be unlawful.
• If a Prize is or becomes unavailable we may substitute it with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are also subject to change.
• Unless we agree otherwise, no alternative prize will be given and the Prize/s is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
• Your data may be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions for the purposes of running this Promotion. This includes contacting you if you are a Prize Winner. We will hold your data for the purposes of this Promotion for up to twelve (12) months after which it will be securely and permanently deleted, unless you have opted in to receive further communications about other goods and services offered by the Promoter which the data will be retained in accordance with the retention periods detailed within our Privacy Policy.
• Where an entrant has opted in to receive marketing communications during the process of entering the Promotion, that entrant agrees that the Promoter may use the entrant's personal information to provide the entrant with information about goods and services of the Promoter, which may be of interest to the entrant. The entrant can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe option as detailed within any given communication. The entrant’s data will be not shared or sold to any other third party outside the Promoters group of companies.
• We will not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that we do not directly control - for example, mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, software providers and telephone traffic handlers.
• Nothing in these terms and conditions removes or limits our liability for: (a) fraud; or (b) death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at the monetary value of the Prize. These terms and conditions also do not affect the rights that are granted to you as a consumer by the law.
• Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising in any way out of this promotion, including but not limited to where such injury, loss or damage arises out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or an entrant; (f) participation in this promotion; (g) use of any prize.
• These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but if we do, we shall provide appropriate notification.
• If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable it shall be severed from the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions which shall as far as possible continue in full force and effect.
• Where a restriction is applied to your Member account under the Virgin Bet Terms and Conditions or your eligibility to receive the Bonus offered as part of this Promotion is otherwise reduced by us under the Bonus Rules (an “Account Restriction”) after you have placed a Qualifying Bet (where placed before we have notified you of the Account Restriction), you may contact our Customer Service Team to obtain the full number and expected value of any Bonus that you should have been awarded under this Promotion, where altered or removed by such Account Restriction. This Rule is subject to our obligations to apply restrictions to Bonuses as necessary to prevent money laundering, fraud or similar unlawful behaviour as set out in the Virgin Bet Terms and Conditions.
• If you opt to participate in this Promotion, you agree to comply with these Rules, the Bonus Rules and the Terms and Conditions at all times. If (based on reasonable evidence) we find that you have seriously breached any of these Terms, we may render bets, refunds and/or related winnings in your Member account void, and we reserve the right to close your Member account.
• Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise as a result of accepting their prize. The Promoter is not responsible for such tax implications and prize winners should seek independent financial advice where necessary.
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
