On the face of it, this BetMGM sign-up offer is very good and one that will attract plenty of interest from UK punters and bonus hunters.

Any bookie offering £40 in free bets, for the sake of a tenner, gets my attention, especially as the qualifying bet itself has very few caveats, although the main issue does come from the minimum odds requirement, which at Evens (2.0) is on the higher end of the scale.

The free bets are split into 4 x £10 which improves players' chances of making some money back, however, they are limited to specific markets, namely Football, Horse Racing, Accas and Bet Builder, so their usefulness will vary depending on the punter.

And finally, the expiry period of 7 days is rather on the low side, with other big brands such as SpreadEx lasting 28 days and Sky Bet never running out!

Despite some minor concerns, the BetMGM sign-up offer is exceptionally strong compared to the vast majority of other bookmaker welcome bonuses and having claimed it myself, I can only recommend you do the same.

The £10 free bet on Horse Racing is self-explanatory and can be used across all horse racing events, from the UK and Ireland to international cards. A single bet or more, including doubles and trebles, must be placed at odds of Evens or greater.

For football fans, the £10 free Football bet is very straightforward, with customers asked to place a single or more football bet at odds of Evens or greater. 

The £10 free Acca bet is a little more specific in its requirements, with the player asked to pick a minimum of three selections or more at combined odds of Evens or greater. This can be used in many sports, including football, Basketball, Rugby and more, so long as it meets the requirements.

And finally, the £10 free Bet Builder bet can also be used on a multitude of sporting events, with the only requirement being that the total odds of the bet builder is 3/1 or greater.
