England to Win World Cup Odds
17/2 - England are now the fourth favourites to win the 2022 World Cup.
Some bookies have the Three Lions priced as joint third favourites along with Argentina at 7/1, but a number of firms have dropped them behind the two-time World Cup winners.
Brazil lead the way with a best price of 4/1. France and Argentina come next at 13/2 apiece.
Then it's England at 17/2 before Spain at 9/1.
*Odds are correct as of November 3rd, 2022.

How England's Odds Have Changed
When the market opened shortly after the 2018 World Cup, England were as big as 16/1 with BoyleSports, and in double figures with pretty much all other top firms.
The Three Lions' run to the final of Euro 2020 saw those prices disappear, and their impressive post-Euros form resulted in odds of 5/1, which was on par with Brazil and shorter than France's price.
However, the 2022-23 Nations League campaign was disastrous.
Gareth Southgate's men were winless in all six games, and it took until the second half of the last match against Germany for them to score from open play.
As a result, they have slipped down the betting board and find themselves behind Argentina in the market.
What About the Other Teams?
Given Brazil's World Cup pedigree and the quality of their current squad, it's no surprise that they sit atop the outright betting market at 4/1.
You can't begrudge France being up there either. The reigning champions, like England, had a shocking Nations League, but have the talent to turn it on in Qatar.
Argentina, the 2021 Copa America winners, have not lost a game since 2019 and have crept up the board, while Spain have stayed pretty consistent in and around 9/1.
Germany can never be counted out and might be tempting at 11/1, and other possible winners at even bigger prices are the Netherlands, Portugal, and Belgium.

More England World Cup Betting Markets
The beauty of betting on the World Cup is that there are so many markets to choose from aside from the outright winner market.
There are hundreds of betting options within each game - many of which are explained in our how to bet on the World Cup guide - plus lots of interesting wagers that span across the whole tournament.
One of the most popular things to bet on is the Golden Boot, and England actually have the favourite in that category. No prizes for guessing who it is!
England World Cup Golden Boot Odds
Harry Kane won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup as he netted six times, and he is priced at 8/1 to take the honours again in Qatar.
With four goals at Euro 2020, he was only one goal short of sharing the award there as well.
Raheem Sterling, who scored three goals at the Euros, is a dark horse in this market at 50/1, and Phil Foden is a massive outsider at 100/1.

England Team Top Goalscorer Odds
Some bookies have a market that allows you to bet on England's top goalscorer at the World Cup.
The odds are as follows:
- Harry Kane - 4/6
- Raheem Sterling - 3/1
- Phil Foden - 13/2
- Mason Mount - 7/1
- Ollie Watkins - 7/1
- Bukayo Saka - 9/1
- Jack Grealish - 10/1
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 16/1
- Jadon Sancho - 20/1
- Marcus Rashford - 20/1
Group B Odds
On paper, it is not the most difficult group for England to navigate, hence their very short odds to win it ahead of Wales, USA, and Iran.
The best price you'll find on Gareth Southgate's men topping the group is 2/5, but most firms have gone even shorter than that.
You can also bet on teams to qualify from Group B, and while England are almost unbackable at 1/9, it does present some interesting opportunities to back any of the other three sides to advance to the last 16.
There is hardly anything between the USA and Wales, but Iran are clear outsiders at 7/2
England Elimination Stage Odds
Some bookmakers have a market for the stage in which England will be knocked out of the World Cup.
Their odds are as follows:
- Quarter-finals - 5/2
- Round of 16 - 9/4
- Semi-finals - 9/2
- Group stage - 6/1
- Winner - 7/1
- Runner-up - 8/1
Summary
England are 17/2 to win the World Cup which feels far more reasonable than the 5/1 we were being offered a few months ago.
The alternative markets are interesting, too. Aside from the ones mentioned above, you can also wager on players to make the squad or to start against Iran.
There are plenty of bookies to choose from, but the ones that have the best selection for England at the World Cup right now are BetUK, Grosvenor, and Rhino Bet.
